Family Ministry is volunteer-driven and there is a place for
anyone with any gift and talent. We have over 200 volunteers
that serve at CCCS to help it function and run smoothly. We
invite you to join a volunteer team! If you are interested
in teaching, storytelling, singing, dancing, administration,
leadership, rocking babies, phone calls, prop collecting,
technical needs, computers, or greeting – please contact
Christy Hall at 998-2989. We would love to help you find
your passion and “place” in ministry!
Twice a year all Family Ministry volunteers get together to
celebrate and train – once in August (before the new school
year) and once in May (the annual “Grammy Awards” at the end
of the school year). Mid-year individual teams get together
to encourage, train, and build relationships. This is a
great way to get connected with the Body of Christ! We do
ask for a one-year commitment, and then we encourage you to
either stay with your current ministry or try out a
different area, based on calling and passion. We do have
different requirements for volunteers, based on the

We have incredible volunteers! Here is a
bit of encouragement for you:
Rom. 12;7 – “We have different gifts, according to the grace given us. If a
man’s gift is prophesying, let him use it in proportion to his faith. If it is
serving, let him serve; if it is teaching, let him teach; if it is encouraging,
let him encourage; if it is contriburing to the needs of others, let him give
generously; if it is leadership, let him govern diligently; if it is showing
mercy, let him do it cheerfully.”
Praise the Lord we have the opportunity to experience this first-hand at CCCS!
Whether you’re good at greeting, running a soundboard, rocking babies, acting,
teaching, or nurturing – there is a place for you! It’s incredible to see so
many of you growing in the gifts God’s given you. Be encouraged today that you
are here for a purpose and God is most certainly pleased with you!
Ephes. 6:8 – “Serve wholeheartedly, as if you were serving the Lord, not men,
because you know that the Lord will reward everyone for whatever good he does,
whether he is slave or free.” Thank you for making the choice to serve this year
in Family Ministry! We know that there will be moments of incredible joy over a
child making Jesus their personal Savior and other moments where you wonder if
you’re making any difference. In those times, celebrate the joy of serving God
and learning more about yourself! We appreciate and ask you to make a year-long
commitment because we know God has incredible “growth spurts” for you this year.

Matt. 11:25 – “At the time Jesus said, ‘I praise you, Father, Lord of heaven and
earth, because you have hidden these things from the wise and learned, and
revealed them to little children. Yes, Father, for this was your good pleasure.”
Children are so precious, and we hope you’ll learn from them just as they are
learning from you!
Deut. 32:2 – “Let my teaching fall like rain and my words descend like dew, like
showers on new grass, like abundant rain on tender plants.”
Amen. This is our prayer for all of you
who come in contact with children.
