News From Hope Missions

Punta Cana - 2010

We will be going back to the eastern part of the Dominican Republic to the town of Punta Cana. The trip is scheduled for January 18 through the January 29, 2010.

The Church is growing but there is still work for God's Kingdom to do. If you would like to be part of The Kingdom Builders and accompany us on this Mission Trip you will need a passport. The cost of the trip is $690.00. An application and more information is available upon request.

South Dakota 2010

Diamond Willow Ministries, Crow Creek Sioux Indian Reservation.  April 30 - May 9, 2010. The cost of the trip is $345.00.  This will cover the bus trip, lodging and food while in South Dakota.  There is limited seating so don't wait.

For those who don’t know about Hope Missions or how we work, here is a brief explanation::
Hope Missions is a faith ministry. We have been working with missionaries around the world for about fifteen years. Our primary goal is to build church buildings in poor countries and communities. We have also built on an Indian Reservation in SD and worked on school buildings, houses, etc.

Hope Missions raises all the money for building materials and the teams that go are volunteers who pay their own airfare. Our trips are very affordable for retirees and family people. The money for materials is raised through revivals and special offerings from many different places.

Here is how we work. We get a request from a missionary for a project. We pray and investigate to see if the request meets our calling. Then, if we accept the project, we pick a date, assemble a team and trust God for the money. Each project costs about 10-12 thousand dollars.

Each team leader like Tom Hixson, David Ogershok or Bud and Larry must raise the money for his particular project. Everything is by faith, and God has been faithful.

Maybe this brief explanation can give you an understanding of Hope Missions. Please pray and join us in serving God this way.
