News From Hope Missions

For those who don’t know about Hope Missions or how we work, here is a brief explanation::
Hope Missions is a faith ministry. We have been working with missionaries around the world for about fifteen years. Our primary goal is to build church buildings in poor countries and communities. We have also built on an Indian Reservation in SD and worked on school buildings, houses, etc.

Hope Missions raises all the money for building materials and the teams that go are volunteers who pay their own airfare. Our trips are very affordable for retirees and family people. The money for materials is raised through revivals and special offerings from many different places.

Here is how we work. We get a request from a missionary for a project. We pray and investigate to see if the request meets our calling. Then, if we accept the project, we pick a date, assemble a team and trust God for the money. Each project costs about 10-12 thousand dollars.

Each team leader like Tom Hixson, David Ogershok or Bud and Larry must raise the money for his particular project. Everything is by faith, and God has been faithful.

Maybe this brief explanation can give you an understanding of Hope Missions. Please pray and join us in serving God this way.
